The Iron Butt Association is dedicated to safe, long-distance motorcycle riding who got its roots and start back in 1984 when they held the first Iron Butt Rally, an epic 10 sequential days of riding 1000 miles per day!

 

Current membership of over 84,000 riders, to gain this prestigious status of an Iron Butt member and prove your mettle, you must complete a 1000 mile/1600 km route in less than 24 hours.  This is a feat and there are lots of considerations to ensure this is done safely.  There are various rules to ensure that the trip is done properly and you attain the mileage required within the time and distance.

 

High Road Motorsports is the only sanctioned dealership in the world to work with the IBA to host a variety of rides that can help you become a member.

 

It all starts with a seminar which gives you the tools and information needed, held at our Vancovuer store on June 5, 2025.   The ride happens on June 21st so this provides a bit of time to be ready for the excursion.
